Castleford Bus Station provides improved public transport facilities, greater accessibility, encourages bus use and supports regeneration for Castleford and the surrounding areas.
The £6m project improves connectivity between the bus and rail stations. The facility also features an enclosed waiting area, retail facilities, CCTV, real-time information and public toilets.
The project has significantly improved public safety through an innovative combination of precautions parcelled together as part of the design, implementation and operation of the project.
